If you caught Founder & CEO Furqan Iqbal’s letter last week, you already know that we’re working hard to better communicate with and support Tennis Locker users.
Today, we’re taking another exciting step in that direction as we welcome our new Customer Success Manager: Nikki Slater.
Born and bred in Scotland, Nikki grew up playing tennis with Andy and Jamie Murray and was coached by their mom, Judy Murray. After playing for Florida State on scholarship (and reaching #12 in the nation as an individual), Nikki went on to play tennis professionally.
She reached a career high of 167, competed at Wimbledon, was a finalist in 5 tour events, and won 6 titles. Like many tennis players, she helped fund her professional career by coaching the next generation of tennis players.
She has now been coaching tennis for 18 years, but in the last year, she and her players have enjoyed a new and improved training experience with Tennis Locker. In fact, she tells us, “I just wish I had the access to the analytics when I was playing and coaching myself on tour!”
With her experience as a coach—with and without Tennis Locker—as well as her experience as a lifelong tennis player, Nikki is in a perfect position to support our coaches and academies as they begin to implement Tennis Locker to modernize operations and player development.
As Customer Success Manager, Nikki is dedicated to creating a smooth onboarding process for new academies. She will also be available to support users as they master the many features our app offers, and Tennis Locker coaches and directors will soon be invited to join her for weekly webinars.
As Nikki works closely with our app users, she will identify and resolve challenges to ensure a positive experience for directors, coaches, players, and parents. She will be available to meet current and future app users at conferences and other special events, and will share any feedback she receives (in person or online) with the rest of our team to ensure we are continually developing new solutions and features to meet our users’ needs.
We are excited to have the honor of welcoming Nikki Slater into this role and look forward to the many ways in which she will support our customers and improve our app. If you have any questions as you explore and implement Tennis Locker, email us at support@tennislockerapp.com to get in touch with Nikki. We are here to serve you!
