Reading Time: 2 minutes
Tennis Locker is designed to be an on-court app, and it only takes a few seconds to give evals courtside from your iPad, iPhone, or Android device.
But we understand that even those seconds can feel impossible to spare on some days!
Maybe you showed up to practice without your phone.
Maybe you were cornered by a well-meaning parent at the end of practice.
Maybe you have more detailed feedback to share after reflecting on practice for a day or two.
If that sounds familiar, this update is for you!
As part of our recent update, we are proud to offer retro evals in Tennis Locker. With retro evals, you can go back anytime to record practice evals for past training sessions.
This added flexibility makes Tennis Locker even easier to use on and off the courts.
If you prefer to record evals during office hours rather than courtside, now you can. If you prefer to reflect on practice for a day or two in order to offer more detailed feedback, now you can. After all, with the ability to dictate your comments, even detailed feedback only takes seconds to record!
It’s easy to record practice evals retroactively. Simply tap over to the Player Profile for the player you’d like to evaluate.
Tap the Evals to view a calendar where colored dots mark dates with completed evals. Tap and hold on the date for which you’d like to complete a retro eval.
A pop-up will ask if you’d like to complete a retro eval, and you will also have the option to mark them present retroactively from this screen.
From there, simply tap to complete the eval as normal, sending quick yet valuable feedback to your player in just seconds.
Coaches and directors at academies using Tennis Locker can update their iPad app or download the new iPhone/Android app to start using retro evals today.
